“A Well Made Man”: Divine Guidance and Spiritual Elevation – A Powerful Lecture Series
This profound lecture features multiple inspiring voices, culminating in a powerful keynote address by Student Minister Linda Muhammad, exploring themes of divine creation, spiritual growth, and unwavering leadership.
The program commences with Student In The Ministry Joseph Muhammad, who leads the opening prayer. He sets the stage by recounting the merciful appearance of Allah through Master Fard Muhammad in Detroit’s “Black Bottom” to revive the “dead” black man and woman, who were socially, economically, politically, and religiously lifeless. He expresses gratitude for Master Fard Muhammad choosing the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, then known as Elijah Poole, as His messenger. Joseph Muhammad also closes the session, emphasizing the importance of self-improvement as the basis for community development and encourages studying God’s words to find answers to life’s challenges.
Following this, Student In The Ministry Tuere Muhammad delves into the profound connection between the heavens and the earth, mirroring the relationship between the human body and mind. Drawing from a Final Call article by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan titled “Weighing Properly, Physically and Mentally,” she explains how the earth’s burden of unrighteous people is akin to the excess weight we carry in our minds and bodies. She underscores that right thinking and acting are crucial, as sin burdens the intellect, veils vision, and impairs the mind’s divine capabilities, emphasizing that the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad are imperative for maintaining mental and physical health.
Student In The Ministry David Hasan then offers a heartfelt introduction, praising Master Fard Muhammad for traveling 9,000 miles to find and save a lost people, calling them the “ancient lost tribe of Shabazz”. He highlights the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s proclamation of them as the “lost found nation of Islam in the wilderness of North America”. David Hasan emphasizes the unified work of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, describing Minister Farrakhan as a “light giving son” whose voice and teachings are like “sunlight,” nourishing and guiding humanity towards truth.
The focal point of this presentation is the Keynote Address by Student In The Ministry Linda Muhammad on the subject of “A Well Made Man”. She begins by giving all praise to Allah, who appeared in the person of Master Fard Muhammad, and expresses deep gratitude for Master Fard Muhammad raising His messenger, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, whom she refers to as the “true, the living, the arisen and exalted Christ”. She also acknowledges the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as a “divine reminder, a divine one, a teacher, a guide, a Redeemer” left for us.
Linda Muhammad defines “made” as being “specially prepared, assured of success, constructed, shaped, formed”. She connects this concept to Allah’s creation of man, breathing His spirit into him. A central tenet of her address is the assertion that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has been “made” by Almighty God, Allah, to take the place of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and is “backed by two who possess force and power” – Master Fard Muhammad and the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. She illustrates this divine backing by noting that many have tried to harm him, yet “he still stand”.
She draws a powerful parallel between Minister Farrakhan and the biblical figure Aaron, describing him as the “prophetic fulfillment of the historical Aaron” who was a helper to Moses (the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad). Quoting Brother Syed Ali Muhammad, she explains that Aaron was taught by Moses and guided by Allah, serving as Moses’s mouthpiece to confirm his message, not to change it. Linda Muhammad emphasizes that Minister Farrakhan’s work is an “expanded version of the mission of the master,” the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, complementing, not deviating from, the original teachings.
She recalls the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s words describing Minister Farrakhan as “one of the strongest preachers I have in the bounds of North America” and a “great helper” who would “get the nation safely across the river on his shoulders”. Linda Muhammad highlights Minister Farrakhan’s profound humility, as he never saw himself as a leader but became what his teacher is by closely following in his footsteps. She concludes by calling the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan a “warning” to the oppressed and downtrodden, a “well-made man, fashioned by Almighty God, Allah” and “built Allah tough,” impervious to breaking or recall.
This lecture serves as a powerful reminder of divine intervention in human affairs, the importance of submission to God’s will, and the profound impact of divinely appointed leadership in guiding humanity toward self-realization and salvation.
